Technical guidelines and requirements for preparing and submitting the final camera-ready version of accepted papers for the 2nd International Workshop on XR for Challenging Environments (XR4CE 2026).
5+1 pages (max 5 pages for main text & figures + 1 page exclusively for references).
CEURART 1-column layout (LaTeX template available on Overleaf).
October 16, 2026 (min. 1 author per paper must attend & present).
Upload PDF, source & agreement to EasyChair by Oct 22, 2026 (AoE).
As all submissions were already prepared using the CEURART LaTeX template, no template migration is necessary. Please prepare your final camera-ready revision in your existing CEURART document while addressing the reviewer comments and complying with the requirements detailed below.
Template Reference: If needed for reference or fresh setup, the official template is available at [CEURART LaTeX Template (Overleaf)]. Please ensure your paper uses the default 1-column layout.
Page Limit Compliance (5+1 pages): The maximum length for camera-ready papers is 5 pages for the main body (text, figures, tables, acknowledgments), plus up to 1 additional page strictly reserved for references. Papers exceeding this limit cannot be included in the proceedings.
Workshop Mention: In the \conference field in your LaTeX source, please verify or set the conference argument to:
\conference{2nd International XR4CE Workshop, November 3, 2026, Valencia, Spain}
Authors’ Metadata: Please ensure all author information is complete. Full names, email addresses, affiliations with complete physical address, corresponding author designation, and contribution statements (e.g. at the line \fntext[1]{These authors contributed equally.}) are required fields. ORCID iD, personal URLs, and other information are optional but encouraged.
Keywords: Use the \begin{keywords} ... \end{keywords} environment provided by CEUR. Make sure you acknowledge the XR topic in the keywords (to enhance the workshop positioning in the CEUR-WS volume).
Figure Accessibility & Placement: To ensure accessibility for visually impaired readers, please include an alt description within each \includegraphics command, for example:
\includegraphics[width=\linewidth, alt={Detailed description of what the figure shows.}]{FIGURE.png}.
For optimal positioning, please use standard LaTeX placement specifiers such as [h], [t], or [h!].
References: Ensure references are managed via your .bib file and that all citations render properly in the CEURART template. Do not modify the template settings or \referencestyle. All references must fit within the +1 page allowance.
Mandatory AI Disclosure Policy: In accordance with the CEUR-WS Policy on AI-Assisting Tools, all authors must include a "Declaration on Generative AI" section immediately before the References (for more information and an example statement, see CEUR’s AI use policy page).
